Yesterday we went to Market Night with our friends and, as is usually the case, the girls are intrigued by all the vendors hawking their wares. This time I decided to let Emma get her first "real" tattoo. Real, as in not a sticker, but a henna tattoo. We also stuck with the basic, $1 priced, images. Emma chose a butterfly. She sat well for the application but then we found out that she had to keep her arm straight and not bump it on anything for the next half hour. Yeah, right, that's not gonna happen. So we had a bit of smearing, but she did well overall and it ended up looking pretty cool today after all the ink finished flaking off.
