On Friday evening we went to the theater with the girl scouts to see The Nutcracker Ballet. I took Emma for the the first time last year and, truth be told, she was not impressed. In fact, she did not originally even want to go this year... until she heard that there was a patch involved. We are all about getting patches for the uniform lately! So to the theater we went. This was Grandma's first time seeing The Nutcracker as well. She said the dancing was beautiful but she agreed with Emma about it being boring and that it wasn't something she needed to go see again. Emma, as you can see above, was "thrilled." She fell asleep before the first dance was done.
