Christmas Presentation & Party at Daycare!

Emma had a little Christmas pageant and party today at daycare. The kids were supposed to play a bit, sing a few songs, see Santa & Frosty, and then have some snacks. Well, Emma is Emma. During playtime, she had "her boys" that she walked around with. She had been walking around holding Christopher's hand until Baron saw and ran up to get her other hand! Too funny. Then she and Jaden had to sit together for a bit. During the performance time, Emma refused to sing. Its kind of frustrating because I can't get her to stop singing at home and in the car, but in a group she refused. Plus, she KNEW all those songs. She just didn't feel like singing. She preferred to just be stoic and stand there staring at me while wearing a Santa hat. Speaking of Santa, Emma wouldn't go sit with this one either. She did eventually get close enough to give a high-5 and get a present, but that's about it. Emma got 2 new puzzles from Santa and has already been playing with them all afternoon. The kids then had cupcakes and juice for goodies and Emma, staying true to character, enjoyed her chocolate with every one of her 5 senses!
