Fruit Kabobs!
Emma and TJ helped me to make a delicious, and nutritious, dessert for after dinner tonight. We made home made fruit kabobs! Yum yum. We used watermelon, pineapple, nectarines, blackberries, and green apples. The kids, especially TJ, really enjoyed creating their patterns and threading the fruit onto the skewers. Turns out the apple chunks might not have been the best idea as they are rather hard to skewer and TJ even stabbed his hand when attempting to do so, but he didn't even cry or fuss much. And that's how I know he was really enjoying the activity! We had the kabobs along with egg salad sandwiches, sliced tomatoes and cucumbers, and some chips. It was a tasty, low key, meal.
