Our first venture into cookie season has officially come to a close. Emma has done walkabouts (a few), worked cookie booths (a few), and had lots and lots of support from family and friends to help her reach her goal. She set up a lemonade stand at Sophia's house, sold at the American Legion with Grandma & Al, Erin, Jen, Karen, Jon, Ashley, and I have all been schlepping them at work and.... the hard work has paid off. The official grand total is.... ONE THOUSAND, THREE HUNDRED, and TWENTY FIVE BOXES!!! Emma has earned enough to go to Caligirl, to go to Catalina, to pay for horseback riding camp this summer, and to cover her dues and fees for all of next year! Its' amazing!!! People say it takes a village to raise a child and they're right. Emma & I have an awesome village!!!
