Today I took the little ones out to Riverside for the day. We played in the fountains, had lunch with Karen at City Hall, and visited the Metropolitan Museum for the Discovery Days program. The kids learned about animals who use camouflage to blend into their surroundings and then they got to make their own animal camouflage craft. We also spent some time checking out the other museum displays and the military history section. The kids thought the uniforms were kind of cool, but they all definitely need to work on their salutes!
