We spent Saturday at Sea World. This was their first trip for both Emma & TJ and Kayla hadn't been there since she was about 4 years old. We started the morning in the Sesame Street Bay of Play, where the kids loved the rides, of course. Seeing the penguins was fun too. Mikayla & the grownups enjoyed riding the Atlantis roller coaster ride while Emma & TJ checked out the adjoining underwater dolphin exhibit. The black and white dolphins were so pretty swimming through their lost world-esque tank. And then we went to feed the sea lions. It took quite a bit of coaching to get Emma to actually pick up a slimy, smelly, dead little fish and throw it to the sea lions, but she eventually did it and really seemed to like seeing these animals! The arctic exhibit was also a big hit. Emma & TJ & I skipped the motion simulator ride, since they were too little & just went right to see the animals. They must have spent 20 minutes perched on the edge of the rail calling out, "Hi Baby Bah-yoooouuu-ga!" TJ also really liked the polar bears and Emma was a bit scared when she thought the giant walrus was going to swim right over her head!
