Our hotel was only a block away from Seaport Village, which is a great little waterside area with shops, restaurants, and a 100 year old wooden carousel. We walked there almost every evening after we finished with our day's excursion. The kids loved looking out over the water and seeing the military ships in the distance. We were also only a short distance away from the Coronado Bay Bridge. It was neat to show Emma the bridge before we drove over it later in the week.
