Sylvan Park

Emma and I went out early this morning to get the new Disney DVD, The Princess and the Frog. Emma was so excited to go home and watch "Pincess Tanna" (aka, Princess Tiana). After we finished running our errands we decided to stop at the park for a picnic before heading home. Emma loved the playground, as usual, despite the many kids who were there. I was really surprised to see how crowded it was considering it was a Tuesday morning. I guess everyone else wanted to get their kids outside and enjoy the beautiful weather we have been having too.



Emma loves the big slides and has no fear about zooming down them. Oddly enough, she IS scared of the shaky bridge on one part of the jungle gym though. She has refused to cross that wobbly thing for months! She finally braved it today though, as I held her hand through the slats, and she was so proud of herself once she got across.



This picture makes me laugh. I am always teasing Emma about her big feet but, man, this motion shot while she was swinging just makes her little foot look like a giant ski!
