While we were enjoying a wonderful day with wonderful friends at Disneyland, we decided to treat the girls to lunch with "their" princesses. Well, actually, Erin & I took them to lunch while Chris rode the California Screamin' roller coaster over and over again. Apparently princesses aren't quite his cup of tea. The girls however LOVED it. They were standing up in the booth so excited each time the royal trumpeter blew and announced the arrival of another princess. Ariel was a big hit as usual, but Emma's other favorite, Belle, was not here today. Sophia's favorite princess, Aurora, was though, so that was good. We also got to meet Mulan, which was a new one. Both girls reportedly "LOOOOVVVE Moo-yawn"... although Sophia has never seen the movie and I think Emma has watched it once! They are so funny. And, at the end of the meal, the waitress even brought us out an extra white chocolate Ariel so the girls wouldn't fight over the one on the plate. At one point I asked them if they were having a good time and Emma just looked at me with a huge smile on her face and said, "Oh yes, Mommy! This is AMAZING!" Too freaking sweet. I love that kid. Emma & I had done the princess meal with Lenay last week, but it so fun to do it again with one of Emma's best friends. It was a great idea to bring the girls to the park together and one that Erin & I plan to repeat very soon!
