As of today, Emma & Hayden are no longer considered "Tumble Tots." They are now officially "Tumble KIDS." Oooohhhh... Impressive, right? :) Basically, since Hayden is 5 (and Emma will be soon enough) they went ahead & allowed us to move them up to the beginner class. This week was the girl's first time and Jen & I thought it was great. I think the girls were a little overwhelmed, but they got the hang of it quickly. I loved that they weren't sitting there waiting for a turn to go through a circuit like in the younger class. Instead, the instructor would start each girl on one task (low balance beam, bounce board. forward rolls, etc) while she helps ONE student try a more difficult task (rope climb etc) and then yells "Switch!" and they each move to the next stop on the circuit. Much more interactive! Our girls are getting so big...
